Preiskel & Co's success in overturning the conviction of Paul Chambers under the Communications Act 2003 is featured on the front pages of the major press agencies including the BBC News and the Daily Telegraph.

Preiskel & Co is pleased to announce that the Lord Chief Justice Lord Judge handed down a unanimous judgment of the High Court overturning the conviction of Paul Chambers. Paul Chamber had been convicted for sending a “menacing” electronic communication after he tweeted about Robin Hood Airport. This has been a very significant case and decision for the twitter community and social media at large. Preiskel & Co was instructed due to the firm's communications law and social media experience to advise on the Appeal, following Paul Chambers' conviction under S127 of the Communications Act 2003.

Stephen Fry and Al Murray accompany Preiskel team at the Courts of Justice on Twitter Joke Trial Appeal in front of the Lord Chief Justice. Sky News broadcast the Preiskel team walking into the Courts of Justice for the hearing, the barrister instructed being John Cooper. At the end of the hearding, judgment was reserved.

Preiskel & Co advised IXcellerate in the negotiation and securing of an investment from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The IFC was among the investors that subscribed for the Series A equity issue.
