The European Commission has launched a new platform for alternative dispute resolution between consumers and online traders.
The online dispute resolution (ODR) platform is a contribution to the EU’s Digital Single Market strategy. It will help consumers solve contractual disputes related to goods or services purchased online. The disputes will be dealt with out of court and online by alternative dispute resolution entities listed by the Member States.
The ODR platform was launched on 9 January and will become operational to consumers and traders on 15 February under this link.
