Tim Cowen to chair Digital Policy Alliance webinar on “Competition Remedies or Digital Regulation?”

Preiskel & Co Chair, Antitrust Division, Tim Cowen, will chair an upcoming Digital Policy Alliance webinar entitled “Competition Remedies or Digital Regulation? Review of CMA investigation of online advertising markets and the latest initiatives”.

The webinar will address the likely impact and consequences of proposed initiatives to tackle market imbalance in the digital space.

Speakers will include Simeon Thornton, Director at the UK Competition and Markets Authority, who has led the CMA’s market study on Online Platforms and Digital Advertising. Simeon will address the CMA’s findings in its final report, expected to be published on 2 July 2020.

It promises to be a fascinating event with thought-provoking discussion and provides a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the CMA’s conclusions from the market study.
